Combined Graduate and Undergraduate Commencement
Pinnacle Bank Arena - 400 Pinnacle Arena Dr, Lincoln, NE 68508
The ceremony is expected to last 2.5 hours and will be livestreamed on the commencement.unl.edu website
Registration
All faculty wishing to participate in any of the ceremonies must register in advance. Academic regalia is required. Registration is not required to sit in the audience as a spectator.
Graduating Doctoral students on Saturday, August 16 may invite faculty advisors to be seated with them on the arena floor and accompany them to the stage as Ceremonial Hooders. Additional information will be sent from the Graduate Studies office to those identified as Ceremonial Hooders.
Academic Regalia
All participating faculty are required to wear academic regalia. If you do not have your own regalia and need to place a rental order, please supply your specifications using the RSVP link above. All rental regalia orders must be placed by Monday, June 30, 2025, to ensure the proper items can be received in time for your participation. Late orders may incur a charge.
Parking and Arrival
Reserved parking will be available for faculty wishing to participate in commencement. Arrival location, instructions, parking permits and maps will be emailed to faculty participants during the week of commencement. Please plan to arrive by 8:20 a.m. Doors open at 7:30 a.m.
